Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the services you ask Hacienda Heights Sunrooms & Patios to provide. By using the site, asking for an estimate or hiring us, you agree to them.
If you hire us for a project, the written contract we both sign controls that job. Where the contract and these terms differ, the contract wins.
What we do
Hacienda Heights Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor in Hacienda Heights, CA. We design, build and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms and patio covers for homeowners in Hacienda Heights and the cities around it. Our home page lists the services we offer, and our about page explains who we are.
What you read on this site is general information about our work. It doesn't replace an in-person look at your house, and it isn't a promise about any particular project until we put that project in a written contract.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, done in person and carry no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, and on the material prices at that time, so it holds only for the period written on it.
Some conditions only show once work starts, such as damaged framing, a slab or footing that won't carry the new room, or changes required by the permit office. If that happens, we stop, explain what we found and what it will cost, and do extra work only after you approve it in writing.
Scheduling and cancellation
We give you a start date and an expected timeline, but permits, inspections, material deliveries and weather can move them. We keep you told about any change as soon as we know about it.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (626) 269-6285 as early as you can. Any right to cancel that California law gives you on a home improvement contract still applies, and these terms don't take it away. After that period, you may owe for work already done and for custom materials we've ordered that can't be returned, as your contract describes.
Payment
Your contract sets the payment schedule, including any deposit and progress payments, and the amounts follow what California law allows. Final payment is due when the work in the contract is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and the contract may add charges allowed by law. If something about the work is holding up a payment, tell us so we can fix it.
Warranties
Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written into your contract. Windows, panels, roofing and other products carry their makers' warranties, which we pass on to you, and those makers' terms decide what is covered.
Apart from those written warranties, and to the extent the law allows, our services and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied. Normal wear, misuse, lack of upkeep, and changes or repairs made by others aren't covered.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Hacienda Heights Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or loss of property value, that come from our services or from using this website.
Where the law allows a limit, our total liability for any claim about a project is no more than the amount you paid us for that project. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let a business limit.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with any part of our work, tell us first, because most problems are easier to fix when we hear about them early. Reach us through our contact page or at (626) 269-6285, and we'll come out, look at it and work with you in good faith on a fix.
If we still can't agree, either of us may use the remedies available under California law. If your contract sets out a different process, such as mediation or arbitration, that process applies.
Governing law
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and post the new version on this page. Changes apply from the day they're posted, and they don't change a contract you've already signed with us.
Questions about these terms
If anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign anything. Use our contact page or call (626) 269-6285, and we'll go through it with you.
