About us, a Hacienda Heights sunroom contractor

Started by a kid who carried glass

I learned this trade from my dad, and I was hauling glass panels for him before I could drive. I started Hacienda Heights Sunrooms & Patios here in 2017, and I still come out to look at every job and measure it myself. Hacienda Heights is unincorporated, so the County of Los Angeles acts as the local government, and I sort out what that means for your job before we build anything.

Most of our calls come from people who want more use out of a patio or deck, or who have a sunroom that isn't working the way they'd hoped. A sunroom is mostly glass sitting on whatever is under it, so I look hard at that slab or deck before anyone talks price. It's less fun than picking window styles, but it decides whether the room holds up. I'd also rather you know what you're getting into before you sign anything.

What working with us is like

  • The person who measures helps build it

I measure your house myself and build the room with my own crew, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and the job. We still run it like a small family shop, which means you can reach the person who's actually working on your room.

  • A straight answer on the cheaper option

If a less expensive room or material will do what you need, we'll say so. If it won't hold up to how you plan to use the space, we'll tell you that too, before you've spent money finding out the hard way.

  • We handle the permit side

We look up which office handles permits for your address, and when the job needs one, we do the paperwork and work through the inspections with you. That way you're not the one stuck on hold with a permit counter.

Licensed by the state, and insured

Serving Hacienda Heights Since 2017

  1. California contractor license

In California, the Contractors State License Board licenses anyone who builds or alters a structure, and a license is required when a job needs a building permit, uses hired workers, or runs $1,000 or more in labor and materials. A sunroom is well past that $1,000 mark before the first panel of glass goes up, and a big job can't be split into smaller pieces to get under it.

  2. Licensed and fully insured

Licensed and fully insured. Our own crew does the building, so the people on your property are the ones we're responsible for.

Where we build: Hacienda Heights and nearby

We're based in Hacienda Heights and build in a lot of the cities around it, so if you don't see yours here, call (626) 269-6285 and ask.
